Suggestions for future Madden game
I strongly recommend the following for future Madden games.
• Classic rosters/teams from older madden games. This feature has been requested by many and would allow a lot more playability within the game. We could create franchises with these rosters and change the way things turned out.
• Legends Passing style. This would be a lot of fun to be able to use legend’s passjng style such as Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, RG3, etc. This would make for a more unique experience when creating a player
• More advanced stats and data. This would be nice because then we can really see some of the specifics of each team and players alike. Things like average yards per quarter, Playoff career stats, stats for games colder than 30 degrees, average age of team, etc. There is a lot of stats that could be added. I recommend we make it more like real life.
• The ability to fully customize the experience in superstar mode. Things like sliders and even some passing styles aren’t available in this mode and I think they should be. Also things like the ability to adjust your superstars height and weight isn’t available after you create your player. That should be something you can do.
• The ability to download CFB25 draft prospects. I think this feature would be nice because we can have the ability to draft players we played with in college football and continue on their careers.
• The stats need to be revamped. Often times in game there will be stats that just don’t show. For example, I had a superstar mode qb. I threw a touchdown and it was booth reviewed. They determined it was a touchdown but it wasn’t reflecting in my stats. Also, there shouldn’t be a limit to how many yards we can get in a game. 1,023 yards rushing in a game is the max you can get and I think it would be more fun and rewarding if we could get as much as we can.
• Simple CPU changes. Often times I will be throwing on offense and the defender won’t even be looking at the ball and they’ll still be able to swat the ball down. That’s just unrealistic. Also things like drops. The animations cause drops so often. I will have the slider at 90 for wr catching and I will still have 5-7 drops a game. It shouldn’t be that difficult to catch passes.
• More equipment and customization. I think if we had some more of the old school equipment like helmets or the hoodie that James Jones used to wear would be a nice added benefit. I understand some of the equipment that’s in the game was actually banned for use in the nfl, I still think that because it is a video game, it would be cool to have some of that equipment in game. Even just to be able to take the pant socks off like in college. Maybe in franchise mode when you do that, you get fined and maybe lose tmp. Even just the ability to wear baggy sleeves with a quartback coach would be nice. All in all, more customization with the players would be a great added benefit to the game.
