yep same thing...lm used to madden switching to the defender closest to the ball, last night as i was usering my DT and Lamar decided to escape the pocket i clicked on what should have been my DE since he was closest and had great angle to make the tackle..NOPE, switched to my CB that was gaurding is WR about 15 yards deep, so of course now im controlling CB unbeknownst to me and take him completely out of the play leaving WR wide open for long TD when it should have been a sack..hopefully this gets fixed
100% dude. Thank you for writing this. That is a perfect description of the issue. It is beyond me how switching a player now (even before snap switching players while touching stick at all gets offsides called when I play) is now a gamble once play starts
Same thing has been happening to me a lot on console and it’s really annoying me. When the play starts and I’m usering d line if I try to switch to one with a good angle to sack the qb it just switches to a random cb. Once the play starts I can’t switch to a d line men. Have you found any way to fix this?
