All Madden Games Lag Online

I can't play any online H2H games because the game lags so bad I can't even control my players or choose plays. 

I can play all other EA games online without issue but cannot play any of the Madden games. I see lots of posts about controller issues, I am using an Xbox controller on my PC but I don't have any issues with other games on any other platform, just Madden.
