No they didn't.
EA is clueless, they don't know how to fix their broken games. I've had this problem for a month now, just happened out of the blue. I'm done with EA. Madden25 was their last chance. Garbage company releasing broken products and giving brain dead solutions that don't work because they don't care if it works as long as they already got their money.
I fixed mine. Had to unlink my steam account and create a new EA account on a different email then link that to Steam. Of course, I can't link again to another account for 6 months so if it happens again I'm screwed. MY account was not banned, it's an issue with EA
