EA Connect option not showing on bottom right of Madden 25 - Playing on XBOX ONE

Madden 25 for XBOX One (just downloaded) but can't find EA Connect option anyway. Every forum or video says "click R3 (stick)" (which really just opens XBOX profile left pane) or says "on bottom righ...

@s44kos m25 on xbox one doesnt have crossplay at all. therefore there is no ea connect and you can also not play with/against players on series x/s or any playstation or pc. you can only play with/against players on xbox one.

ahhh. Damn.

Any chance you know if earlier version of Madden would work?

Ultimately, just trying to play against friend in another city so need to have Xbox ONE vs Xbox Series X. Madden 23 or 24?

    i am pretty sure that older versions also only supports crossplay between the same console generations. it´s like you have 2 different games.

    only option i see is that your friend is playing the xbox one version on his series x.
