Issues with PS Controller Detection in Madden 25

I am experiencing issues with the detection of my PS controller in Madden 25, which I purchased on Steam. When I try to play, my controller is either not detected properly or recognized as two separate controllers at the same time. Additionally, the buttons are mixed up or not functioning at all.

Here are some details that may help in resolving the issue:

I have new joysticks, while the old ones worked without any issues.

I have tried various settings in the game and Steam, but the problem persists.

Games like NBA 2K25 and EA Sports FC (FIFA 25) work fine with this controller.

I have also tried using DS4Windows for connecting the PS controller, but Madden 25 will not allow me to enter the game.

I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Are there any specific settings in the game or Steam that would allow my PS controller to work properly in Madden 25?
