I am on xbox one playing Madden 25. All season it has been a carbon copy of Madden 24. When I updated the season 7 update it actually changed everything like a hole new game and lost all of my progress. I reset my xbox, unlinked my ea account and tried my old one. Now it says I can;t unlink this ea account until September. Please help I lost all of my progress from months of playing.
Community ManagerShanaynaybaby The main issue here is the unblinking of accounts. Due to the way the linking works, it would have to be linked to the original one it was like to. If the progress is missing after you relink it - if you can to the original one, I'm afraid there is no way to restore that. That is part of what happens when accounts are delinked. Sometimes the system syncs it and loads the data again, but that is working as intended when progress is no longer there. If the progress went missing before you unlinked it, that is generally a sync issue or an overwrite in which case it would still be there but that unlink changes everything. We have no way to restore that data to what it was.
