Madden 2025 Ultimate Team Squads Unplayable

Issue: I cant stay in an online game longer than 15 seconds with out getting disconnected. The prompt i receive is "attempting to reconnect" or as the card get shown it puts me back to the home screen. I have well over 10 videos that i can upload all in a row of the issue.

This is effecting my game play pretty significantly because i am not able to play a match at the moment. I have gone into College Football 2025 and I have 0 issues. This issue isnt internet related or xbox service related. I have gone through and checked everything on my side, this is unacceptable. 

I did not spend alot of money on packs/bundles to stare at the homescreen. I want to be reimbursed if there is no fix.

Even though it has never been this bad, take a look at this screenshot i am providing. It shows EAs track history. How is it other franchises like Activision can have 100 different people in a single match like warzone. But EA cant let 2-6 people connect in a single match, year in and year out.

    Hey @l_DONT_MISS 

    Thanks for reaching out to the community on Answers HQ. 

    When you have a moment can we try the following?

    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Perform a power cycle.
    3. Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    5. Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
    6. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
    7. Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    8. Clear the MAC Address.
      • From the Xbox dashboard, click Settings, then go to All Settings.
      • Go to Network, then Network Settings.
      • Click Advanced Settings, then Alternate MAC address.
      • Select Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    Hey brother. Same here. Are you game sharing/trying to play with someone game sharing? We have a theory. This EA_Illumium or whatever replies to a new thread once and asks questions then ignores us. Don't even bother. That won't fix it. EA doesn't care. Spent money on the games and packs, deluxe edition for early access only to not be able to play as this is the only mode we play. We have a team ready for squads but now we can't play! Wasted money and time playing solos. You also can't do challenges co op or play a friend or do superstar KO! How lovely. Did you try resetting your console? Jesus, we've tried everything. It's on you EA!

    i think your on to something with the game sharing, i play defense on squads. we cant play trios, it wont let us get the 3rd person in. Ironically the Offense and HC i play with are game sharing and it wont let them join together. 

  • Yep. EA doesn't care tho so the game is broken and useless for my friend and I. Pretty * on EA's part..

    Thanks for sharing additional feedback, for clarity whenever someone reaches out on the forums for an issue they're running into Community Managers will provide any relevant information available to help resolve the issue. 

    However, if the steps we share don't seem to help we can pass reports we get on for the team to be aware of and further investigate. While some issues might be a simple fix, others might take longer to solve. 

    Our team continues working on Madden 25 via Maintenace and Title Update to help make the game better for everyone. 

    If you've had a moment to try the steps above and nothing seems to have changed, let us know the following...

     

    • EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
    • Which platform are you on?
    • Are you getting an error message?
    • Does this only happen in one game mode?
    • Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue:
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
