I just got this game for my birthday. I have it on ps5 on a disc. When I install it onto the ps5 the game won't even load to the menu. The ps5 is on the most recent software update and madden game is also updated to version 1.006.000. The CE 108255-1 error screen comes up immediately when trying to load the game. I followed all the support steps provided on the Sony support page. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I've gone into safe mode and rebuilt the database, that didn't work. I factory reset my ps5 and reinstalled it and it still comes up with the CE 108255-1 error. haven't been able to even reach a loading screen let alone a game menu. what's the deal?
Mine crashes after game I play, then the game don’t save an I have to replay it only for it to crash again. I have been reporting this for a while now and nothing. I talked to the BBB today on how to proceed with a complaint. I will post the complaint when it is taken care of. Done with being ignored.
Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
Turn it back on after one minute.
Launch your game.
Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
Restore the license for the game.
Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.
If you continue running into this error message on your console, you might want to try some workarounds shared be the community. I wanted to take a moment and highlight some that other players have shared in the past. These may help with the error codes that you've been seeing.

If you have an external storage drive, check to see if the game has been accidentally installed on both the internal and external drives. Sometimes the game can be installed on the external drive, but the updates are installed on the internal. Data is being pulled from two different sources which can cause technical issues.
One way to do this is by uninstalling CF25 and temporarily removing your external drive. Then check if any files remain on your internal drive. If not, reinstall CF25 on your internal drive and test again.
If anything is plugged into a USB slot on the console, remove the device and test again.

I have done all the steps below and my madden is still crashing reset and redownloaded… reset my PS5… changed to performance mode…. This is ridiculous… I have reached out on many platforms and have been ignored (I’m hoping this doesn’t get ignored either) all I play is Madden it’s football season please fix the error or return the money! Preferably fix the error!!!!
