I just got this game for my birthday. I have it on ps5 on a disc. When I install it onto the ps5 the game won't even load to the menu. The ps5 is on the most recent software update and madden game is also updated to version 1.006.000. The CE 108255-1 error screen comes up immediately when trying to load the game. I followed all the support steps provided on the Sony support page. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I've gone into safe mode and rebuilt the database, that didn't work. I factory reset my ps5 and reinstalled it and it still comes up with the CE 108255-1 error. haven't been able to even reach a loading screen let alone a game menu. what's the deal?

@EA_Illium The first comment in this thread literally says that he already tried the Sony Error Code support suggestions... Shows how much you guys are really working on this! Fix the 9/3/24 update. It's the game not the console. People are reporting it on all 3 platforms.#BringBackNFL2K

Seriously, do you guys even give a crap? Read the post, tried all those steps. It’s something with the game, not PS5. Only game this happens with. This game is the buggiest game i have even had. To much time spent trying to create opportunities to make money throughout the game, not enough attention to the performance

Not sure if you all understand the severity of this issue, but in the past 3 days this error code is the #1 searched thing on google for Madden 25. Understand your company prioritizes by the number of people who have reported the same issue but there are definitely more than the few of us who have reported in this thread that have the same issue. #1 request at least a response saying you’re troubleshooting, & #2 request you all increase the priority of the issue to your tech department. We all paid our money to enjoy this game but are unable to at this current time.

The madden 25 that I bought online on my PS5 keeps crashing with an error code CE-108255-1. I have cleared the done everything PlayStation asked me to do even reset the Ps5 but the game keeps crashing with this error message. I have deleted the game and downloaded a new one but the same issue. Please how can I resolve this issue

Bro I’m in the same boat as you I’m having the same problem. It’s unbelievable I thought it was a PlayStation problem but nah. You think ea would have a number to call.

That is a PSN error code that indicates your PS+ membership has expired or the payment hasn't gone though yet. PS+ is required for online play.
