- In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair
- Make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard video output

ive tried all of the above multiple times and still is happening
ive found the only way to get it to start is to run the ea app in offline mode then start the game but thats very inconvenient
