Switch OG controller just won't work anymore

So I don't know what happened between last time I played Madden 25 (Steam Release) and now but lately, this game just wasn't having it with the Switch OG controller. Whenever it was plugged in, it would go all haywire and just spam a bunch of random inputs. And when it was unplugged and connected through bluetooth, it worked...? But all the buttons would be mixed. X/Y/B/A would do Up/Down/Left/Right, The shoulder buttons and triggers did X/Y/B/A, the left stick would feel picky, etc. Yes I tried using tools like DS4Windows. Yes I tried disabling Steam input. Nothing seemed to work. Is anyone else having this issue? What did they do to fix it? Given it used to work. Even if the game saw the controller as 2, at least it worked. So why is it broken now?
