Unable to play the "league mode" in superstar

I'm playing madden 25 on PC through EA app. I'm able to import my character from my college football and edit the character. When I initially start the league mode to go to the combine the first time, I am able to choose the settings for how I want the story to run. After that, It just a long loading screen and I can't get into the combine. I restart the game and try to load into the story mode again, and it just takes me back to the main superstar page. Can't really play it. I've updated and repair the game. Don't know what to do.
