My xbox one controller is not working on my pc for madden 25. it is not registering it at all no matter what. i have an xbox usb adapter. pleas help, as i just spent 75 dollars on this game and i can't even play it now.

@GPain11, hey, just found the solution via steam forum. It worked for me:

I was also having issues and getting real pissed. So what the solution is, you gotta go into Steam’s settings, click the controller settings, and if “Use steam input for xbox controllers” is turned on, turn that off. Now you’ll be able to play against AI without the game thinking there’s two controllers when there isn’t.
