@bwi84gneum6r Ahh, those were the good old days...
Now, you get the "authentic" kick off and the AI kicker can't get the ball into the landing zone, it lands at the 30ish yard line, which screws up field pass objectives asking for kick off / punt return yardage. My defense tends to sack + sack + sack = safety and you lose the opportunity to return a kick because the weak AI kickers can't kick deep.
I also miss the between quarter stats showing yardage, because if you're going for a Field Pass (or other objective) it was nice to see at the end of the 1st 2nd 3rd quarter how many passing or rushing yards you had. Semi related -- past Maddens would give you an semi frequent stats line on the HUD after a run (showing RB1 was 5 attempts for 31 yards, or QB1 was 3/5 27 yards 1 TD, etc). Those are so rare and so brief, you can't even see them at times, and again, the old was was nice when you're tracking yards for a Field Pass objective.
Out of game disappointment -- I liked when EA partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming and gave monthly packs.. by the time you got them, they were well below your roster OVRs but were a meager source of training points. Prime Gaming no longer gives out packs. Too bad.
Lastly, I'm a infrequent lurker -- what happened to the Competitive tab on the Field Pass. Those always were more challenging than the plain Jane Field pass because they had to be accomplished during your 4 daily Solo Battles (now that they dump all 28 games on you at once, guess that wouldn't be a problem). The full "season" milestones in Competitive were challenging (win 100 games in Veteran or higher, pass for 12,000 yards, etc etc ) and you could get some pretty good players by about level 21 of Competitive. I just posted about my disappointment in the current Season 3 Field Pass players who are all slow and under powered and can't seem to crack my lineup. The only Team Captain player on my roster is the kicker who I dumped all upgrade tokens into so he could make 45 yard field goals which appear s objectives at times. Players from the long term promos like Field Pass, and Team Captains are very disappointing compared to Madden 24 (Eric Berry was my SS in M24 from day one until he got to 99 gold).
