Can’t play wheel of mut squads

I’ve been playing madden since it came out, me and my buddy have both been playing squads and that’s really all we do when we get on. Recently when the new season came out we were 1-0 from our record from a previous game. The thing is now I cannot get in a squad game at all. I can’t even play a game with filled teammates. When we invite each other it says error or we don’t have the right game version. We both reinstalled our games, and both have gamepass. We can play online solo games but squads does not work. This has been going on since the new season came out.

i would like to know how i can fix this and I’ve been trying to get in contact with ea for days and found nothing. I almost would rather have compensation for my game not working right.
