Error when trying to access or edit lineup with All Star Athletes players

Just got hit by the lineup glitch. I removed all players and removed all chems and abilities and still can’t put players in my lineup

    Hi everyone, 

    Thanks again for being patient with us while we’ve been looking into these errors. 

    We’ve made some changes that may help with this. When you’ve got the chance can you give this a try?

    First, fully shut down and restart your console. Once you’re back in the game, open up your Item Binder in MUT and fully downgrade any 98 OVR All Star Athletes players you might have. 

    Once the players are downgraded, try opening and editing your lineups to see if you get any errors. Please let me know if you’re still getting the same error message after that. 

    If you are able to edit your lineups without any issues, you should be able to re-upgrade the All Star Athletes players. Please let me know it goes when you've got the chance.

    We are still having the issues... Your fix is not the solution... I have been on other threads and have made other posts, no replies from ANYONE.. Why is nothing being done about this... I have had this problem for weeks now... Come on, man, Really???

    I had Larry Allen already upgraded with no problems, I upgraded jim Thorpe... Then I had issues ever since... I quick sold the players and I still have the issues... I broke down all the team captain cards as well... I just want to play the game I paid for...

    After those workarounds, I either get kicked out of the mode, or I get hung on the sub screen where the player can only be subbed for himself and i have to manually back out of the game...

    What else do you need to know?

    If you ever have a lineup glitch and don’t know what is causing it just click on “generate best lineup”.  This should now allow you to make changes again…..annoying but it’s a fix
