EA continues to look this issue in the face and refuse to do anything about it.
It's been several months and a main component of Ultimate Team is still not functioning. They likely will not fix it, or don't care to.
I'd just try your best to ensure no one you know buys another one of these. They aren't worth the lack of maintenance, the troubleshooting, and the lack of customer service anymore. It's all just a cash-grab by EA they don't want to have to work on after launch.
