Patch for lineup issue? ETA?

From what I guess there are two ways to fix the Lineup glitch/ASA isssue. 

1) Fix all the cards. 
2) Create new code to handle exception caused by invalid data from the misconfigured cards, and release patch  

If (1)was easy we would already have the fix. 

I’m guessing we get option 2. 
Option 2 requires new unscheduled build.
