Strange reward situation

My son's been playing MUT on my account, but we realized today that his CUT account had gotten one of the UA players and the Level 20 boost before he decided just to play on mine.  So, we went into Madden.  Sure enough, he received both awards.  I'm Level 51 on CUT and have received nothing...on the same console.  I've seen a lot of suggestions of things you can do console-side to fix the issue, but surely this shows it to be a random issue that's totally server side.

Also worth noting that EA Play is attached to my account.  I received all of the preorder rewards and points.  Just not the crossover ones.
