Defense Issues in H2H play

When you play online with a friend in H2H mode and gameplay is Simulation, if you change cornerback matchups to “By Overall” and then go and make an in game coverage adjustment like going from curl flats to hard flats in Cover 4 or Cover 3 it distorts the defense causing your corners and linebackers to run to the opposite sides of the field and causing wide open touchdowns and free big plays. Please fix this glitch. And can someone tell me why this is always an issue when you try to matchup the best corners with receivers. It’s very frustrating.
