Extreme Lag in Menus since latest Title Update

I'm having the same problem.

Hello! I just wanted to put this post here as I've already seen some talk about it on Reddit earlier today. 

Since the release of the title update this morning (February 4th), the menus in Franchise Mode, at least in the hub screens, seem to have some input delay/lag(about 2 seconds or so), rather than almost no delay or lag before the update. 

I was just wondering: Would it be possible to get this fixed as soon as possible? I'm no expert in game development, so I have no idea really how long it would take to make a fix like this. However, I also remember that a similar issue happened with menu lag in Franchise Mode several months ago after the game's release and was fixed with a later update. 

I also wanted to bring this to the attention of any developer who works on Franchise Mode for Madden 26, in case this was something that may have slipped through the cracks before releasing the title update.

I only play Franchise mode and after the recent update the game has been freezing every button I press. If I wanna upgrade a player, it freezes for 10 to 15 seconds, and it's like that for everything, wanna see the weekly awards, it's the same, wanna change the coaches abilities, same, every action I wanna do takes 10 to 15 seconds, even tho before the update it was running smoothly. It's borderline unplayable.

Why? Why is there extreme lag all of a sudden. This literally makes franchise mode unplayable. It takes forever to do any team management. It is unacceptable if we have to wait til the next Title Update to fix this!!

EA_Kent​ Please Fix this with an Emergency patch!!! 

Since the latest update, just a couple of days ago, has anyone else been having issues where it lags between the screens/tabs, whether in the hub or during gameplay? During the halftime show it will show the over lay of the same game, but highlights of another game, then either won't take you back to your game or will put you in the game that they showed highlights of, then exit the game and have to start it all over again. I'm in the second week of my second season, I'm just wondering if it was just me.

Yup I’m having the same issue. Extreme menu/input lag. Thought maybe my franchise file had been corrupted but no it’s doing it across the whole game. 

I am also having the same issue with the title update. Editing players in franchise mode takes forever due to the extreme lagging. It appears that everything in franchise mode is lagging/slow now to be honest. Please fix this asap.
