I had a similar issue, I suddenly noticed that I was missing every single pick for the 2031 season. After some raging and checking older save files (picks were missing already during the previous season's offseason, which were the oldest save files of that franchise), I realised that the Eagles had duplicate picks for 2031 matching my draft position.
Fortunately the valuation of the draft picks for CPU teams is horribly broken, so I managed to Herschel Walker all of my picks (Rounds 1-7) back from the Eagles by trading them an 87 overall superstar RT whose contract was expiring after this season (and I wouldn't have had the cap room to extend him anyways).
I’ve run into a similar situation with the Chiefs. I was going to do exactly what you did. My question is did the draft picks show correctly during your draft or did the Eagles get the extra picks. I ask because the Chiefs are showing duplicate picks like Round 1 pick 29. Does the game differentiate between pick 29 and 30 during the draft?
