Gamebreaking Crash/Lag when calling plays

Am on PS5. I favourited a handful of defensive plays and after 5-6  games I started to get massive freezes and lag on defence every time when selecting a play. That is when I realised that according to the game I have favourited over 22 thousand plays. In reality, the game has just created thousands of copies of the 8ish plays I had favourited and duplicated them in the favourite play section (possibly copying every time I called said play) . It seems the only way to fix this is to un-add each of the 22-thousand plays individually.......
