Glitchy skills trainer, glitchy gameplay
Which issue to address first, 🤔. Red zone receiver skills drill, big issue with completing the drill and having to start over because the QB is throwing the ball into the stands. Which makes no sense cause the QB is not being pressured. Why is he making throws like that? Cant even play and enjoy the game cause I have to start the training over every time it does that.
Next issue, player merging needs to stop. Cpu ran crosses threw the ball when 2 receivers merged into one player, one of the receivers was able to catch the ball during this merge, then do a spin move in the merge to avoid the tackle and got extra yards before tackle. Not a single disruption in his momentum or stumble when this happened. This play should have just been incomplete pass, and the physics alone should have been 1 of 2 things either they collide and fall or they collide and stumble, not merge into 1 player make the play and ignore all physics to make a spin move for extra yards. It's these things that have us frustrated with the game because these are physics that you guys are supposed to improve on and its not delivering. And because of this you have the cpu making plays that shouldn't happen that would have probably resulted in a sack. Franchise mode.
Next issue, now you guys know about this and shame on you for releasing this game with this problem. When playing h2h the previous play display covers the next play that's being called by the opponent. So while im on defense waiting to see what play my opponent picks all I can see is the player personnel they come out in. Cant see the name of formation or anything so if they are calling the same play I wouldn't know. I had to turn off the previous play display just to see fully what my opponent was picking. This goes back to last year when we couldn't fully see the kicking meter. Thats why I say shame, because you guys know about this. Here's a suggestion place the previous play display on the opposite side of the screen that way its not blocking.
Every new drive on first down the play clock is starts at 20 seconds, leaving no time to make adjustments for subs just pick a play and go. I still find myself pausing the game and making a substitution in the depth chart, you dont get a lot of time to make adjustments, and use the new player substitution. Would like an option to disable the button for in-game substitution, and revert back to old camera settings with d-pad. Not very useful in terms of how much time you get before ball is hike. Then the rest of the downs the play clock starts at 30 seconds. Franchise mode.
The shame bit was with no hate, no anger, just pure frustration. We as the madden community, who have faithfully paid and played this game every year, over 20 years myself. Hold you EA to a high standard in your creation and development of this game. When we see simple things like displays overlapping each other and QB throwing the ball into the stands on a receiver skills drill, stuff thats just so blatantly obvious, it really makes us wonder what your testers and quality control are doing over there. Mind you I've only been playing the game less than a week and I found these issues. Also update the tags, none of these tags below has anything to do with the bad gameplay performance I just described. I'll just use Playstation tag.
