Online solo franchise - wear and tear / weather

Playing on PS5 - solo Franchise - when online, playing against the CPU, I went thru an entire season and have had zero weather events.  Also, never have had to sub out a player due to wear and tear.  If you simulate a game, injuries occur and then the player(s) are put on IR .  Switch over to off-line and weather events occur and wear and tear is seen.
