Overpowered Run Blocking and Poor AI Run Defense in All-Madden Franchise

I'm playing All-Madden Franchise and adjusted all sliders to making running as challenging as possible. I'm averaging 7-10 yards per game running the ball up the middle. I can call a run up the middle every play and the CPU doesn't adjust. The offensive line is way overpowered when running the ball, even when I set Player run blocking to 0. 

This is the first year that I've experienced this issue. It's so easy to run, I don't even play the game any more. Not sure why this glaring issue has been overlooked.
