Roster Update Loop

Which platform are you playing on? XBOX Series X

What is your PSN ID, Xbox Gamertag, EA Account ID, Steam ID, or Nintendo Switch Online ID? Bmac1575

Which game mode were you playing when the issue happened? Online H2H

Did you get any error messages? No

What happened in the game leading up to the issue? Nothing to report other than first prompt to update roster to play online

What was supposed to happen before the issue came up? Roster update and then game

Do you have any screenshots or video clips of the issue? Yes

Started approximately 8-9 days ago. The last game I was able to play before this issue was on 12/18/2025

Tried saving updated roster using different file name. Deleted saved data and reserved space files. Followed powercycle steps listed on forum. Changed from custom playbooks to team playbooks. 

The issue is with the roster update file, when it downloads there is a hesitation from 98%-100% of a second or less. This is the only roster update that I have noticed the hesitation like I am seeing on this one. I have tried all steps listed in the forum short of uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Video of issue is too large to upload on site, message me with another way to share and I will send. Please assist, thank you

    If you don’t mind, where have they stated that there is not an error or problem? I have seen one person on that side of the forums say it’s an issues and they are looking into it

    Yeah it’s pretty obvious lol

    i just don’t understand why adjusting your depth chart before a game can’t be accomplished

    Were you able to reach someone by phone or were you talking to them via form posts? I never saw and posts that acknowledged the issue or asked for info and steps taken so far. 

    Of course  I agree that there is an issue but I have tried every step that they have site and some steps on the Xbox site for series x.

    Up until this started last week, the main issue I was having was getting all of my plays to show in custome offense playbook, that one I have been able to live with but this just sends you a circle to update then to save then after reorganizing the depth chart it says the same thing. Doesn’t matter how you try and save it same problem.

    As a test I started only making 2 changes to the depth chart and then saving it. Once I started to grin a match, same message of if you want to play online must update roster.

    Seems like they could temporarily take the rosters back to the last time it was working for us

    If they claim no issue they just don’t think it’s a problem I guess. It’s not even something that needs testing it’s just an obvious thing 

  • Man we have been blowing up the forum on various threads all over this forum 

    EA Kent know about this 100% 

    I spoke to someone at EA days ago and they claim there is NO ISSIE after the various tests they ran 

    Like wtf are we in the matrix or something !?

    THERE IS AN ISSUE !!!!
