SAM Required

Question

Is SAM a required position because I got an error that I have to have one to play the game?

There are not many SAM linebackers in the game. By week 1 there are none at all in free agency, but I am required to have 1 on my roster to play the game or I get an error. I looked at the other cpu teams and multiple teams do not have a SAM. Ether the game needs more SAM linebackers or need to not be required like the FB.

Ps5 here and I haven’t noticed that though I have noticed that there aren’t many Sam backers either not sure why and I hate the fact ea changed that too just makes it more confusing tbh&nbsp;

All pre-season I had a 1 SAM then I put him on the practice squad and I got the error in week 1. I moved a guy to SAM and it let me play. Maybe that confused the game.
