Twitch account Stuck

I’ve been trying to get the twitch rewards and linking my new twitch account to my EA account , but it says that I can only have one EA account linked to a twitch account in my lifetime. I was thinking , If I create a new EA account and link my twitch account do I lose my MUT progress if I create a new EA account but it is the same Xbox account.
