why doesn't after school tutor work?

The headcoach ability worked at one point and was able to focus on all 6 players in the weekly schedule when I first played Madden 26, but a while ago I cannot get the ability to work anymore. It's equipped for the weekly schedule and upgraded fully, but it does not work anymore. Why is this EA?
