Dear EA developers…

COACH MODE..

There was a time when EA had a - True Coach Mode- that is when you were able to just call plays and make substitutions “without” having to take control of a player - Qb or a Kicker or a Defensive end and use yiur controller…that is not Coach Mode ..I don’t know what that is?
In the version of Coach Mode as of now if you call a passing play I have to physically grab the controller and pass or the QB will stand there and get sacked - as with the Kicker he will not kick I am forced to physically take the controller and kick-   It seems to me that everything would be in place to give us back a True Coach Mode where we could just call plays and substitute- I know many people - don’t care for this and  I understand - but it an OPTION then why would it not be accepted- I have limited use of my hands with arthritis- and we here are all about the same age and love football and Madden have been playing since 98- I have beena contributor to the “create a team” old time times of the past -although I won’t be able to do that anymore…

Just in hopes  slight change could be made with a patch or something…to bring back True Coach Mode where.

    There is an option you can turn on as to where the QB will throw by himself without the user taking over on the controller . BUT you will still have to control the ball carrier on the run plays and also the defensive plays . I do know what you mean though and agree a true coach mode would be nice to have again like the mode from the past . 
    The closest I have came to a coach mode is by going through my playbooks (offense and defense) and rating the plays I like the most to be used in certain situations (down and distance ) and then choose the option to slow sim before the kickoff and then you can watch the game play out without the user having to do anything .  Yes I know you’re not picking each individual play before each snap but that’s why you specifically detail your playbooks and rate the plays like a coach would do , so it’s someways like coach mode . In case you weren’t already aware of this type of play . Hope this might help .

    Thanks for the reply..and yes I do play as you cpu vs cpu..I streamline my playbooks- if we could only (in that mode your CPU vs CPU)  PAUSE GAME- Switch to controller to a team-call a play - and then return to game it would fantastic…..I don’t understand EA and their view of modes of play or why they take modes out when they are clearly options…
