Player Option in Franchise Mode
Dear Madden NFL Development Team, I’ve been a loyal Madden player for years, and one of the most enjoyable features for me has always been the ability to play Franchise as a single player through “Player Mode.” In Madden 26, I was disappointed to find that Franchise Mode is now coach-only, with no option to lock into a player for an entire career. This change removes a unique and immersive way to experience the game, and it has significantly impacted how much I enjoy playing. I’m respectfully asking that you consider restoring Player Mode as an optional setting in a future update for Madden 26, or at least confirm that it will return in Madden 27. Even if resources are focused on Coach Mode, simply giving players the choice to experience Franchise as a player would make a huge difference. Thank you for your time, and for all the work you put into the Madden series each year.
Madden 26 online head 2 head is Awful
All these other Madden players want to do is run 3-3 double mug all game and Run the same exact offensive scheme all game while chewing the clock and the bad part is the A.I defenders can’t even recognize the same ol formation nor the play. The Receivers run into each other or the db’s will run into to the darn receivers, the refs won’t call pass interference. What’s worse is if the person I’m playing is losing, they will glitch or freeze glitch the game. Madden 26 online head 2 Head is straight dog doo doo water, I consider myself a B minus player I’m not pro level player , I like think I’m decent .EA I really wish you guys would fix online H2H.Don't Buy Madden 26 on PC
I played Madden football for years on consoles and the game had it's ups and downs but it was still fun to play overall. I took a break from madden (about 3 years) because I played MUT (Madden Ultimate Team) and the transactions and lack of activity was getting bad. I had heard it was better this year so i pre ordered the game, but this time on PC because i no longer have any consoles. WOW!! What a mistake! First off you only can have one account, so my kids cant have their own MUT accounts and teams, i would have to buy 3 more copies of the game. Second the auction house is horrific. There aren't a lot of players on PC so getting the cards you need is sometimes almost impossible. EA can fix this with cross auction house or putting cards on the block themselves to make it fair. Also if even though reading this you still want to buy the game, buy it from steam so you can use the steam deck or the app. The game is not fun for me because of those reasons, I guess i Just threw $100 down the drain.Madden 26 Teambuilder show us your build teams!
Hey all, I create this tread so that everyone can share there creation right here with their name so that we can download teams we like. I'll start my name is Jay-F and i like to create teams that are not in a nfl states marquet. I like to create flamboyant uniforms (I used to create team from players demands in here back in 2014 for NCAA 14). MADDEN 26-27 IMPROVEMENT IDEAS
This is a thread I wanted to start so everyone on here can have their ideas seen and heard by EA_Shepard and other EA Staff while also having a single, organized place to share them. This in turn makes it easier to read and organize these thoughts in order to pass on to dev teams. Please be respectful and feel free to put down anything you would want to see in a coming update or in newer games to come. I'll start by adding these ideas: Downloadable Rosters & Draft Classes from past years for nostalgic Franchises. Customizable Divisions and Schedules like what is found in CFB (Great for Fantasy). Reincluding the option of Coaching Legends for Coach Mode (Also Great for Fantasy). Possibly reinclude custom facial uploads for custom coaches in Coach Mode. Revamped and reincluded Player/Owner Modes. - Ultimately to summarize this: For Owner Mode, I'd like to see Team Builder tied more exclusively to a new version of this where customization of everything from the ground up is key for the most customizable experience ever. For Player Mode, I'd like what little works well within Superstar to be tied to a new, revamped Player Mode, where the storylines and cutscenes are more included here, and less in other modes. This would include being able to choose an existing player within a franchise, and focus exclusively on their career; OR, create a new player and start as you would within Superstar. I'd like to see Team Builder weaved into relocation for all online modes and somehow introduced into offline. Inclusion of holding the L2/LT to Switch Stick to minimize switching by accident, especially while trying to pass rush. Include more cities and teams for Relocation. Cities where franchises already exist like Miami, LA, or Detroit, as well as new ones like Boston, Phoenix, or Birmingham. More Stadium options for Relocation. Reinclude Build a Stadium within Team Builder. I'm talking from scratch...not just editing the field. Reinclude the ability to edit and create more custom uniform combinations. Within the Edit Rosters section of the Creation Center, more flexibility to edit a player's contract, abilities, etc, would be nice. Better Training Camp - Introduce some ability to gain physical STR, SPD, AGI, COD, by introducing some of the game found in Superstar like the 3Cone, Weightlifting, 40YD, etc. - This is where mini-games shine. Make games open for more players to train and have them more focused on gaining skill points and less on XP and Rookie Reps. This is a great way to help maintain the physical ability of Vets, or take your high-level Superstars to the next level. Revamp Weekly Training - Make this less focused on mini-games and tie it more to Practice Mode and gaining XP/Rookie Reps. The way the have Wear & Tear worked into this is nice; Now just optimize it. Optimize Coach Central and Coaching Abilities. - It's a bit to type but my thoughts on this can be found in my "M26 Franchise Feedback thread" thread. I feel that's a pretty good start for now. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone that reads and I look forward to seeing more thoughts and ideas shared here!
Defense: Add two buttons for swat, one for each hand
This has always been a minor annoyance -Why is my DB swatting with the wrong hand? From pop-warner, DB's are taught to swat with the inside arm, so that the outside arm is able to make a tackle if you miss the swat. This results in sometimes the DB mysteriously swatting behind the receiver: https://youtu.be/SKp3rsOq54g Solution: - Add intelligence to the animation to use the correct hand or Add a settings menu toggle to allow for some kind of modifier that allows the user to swat with either the left or right hand. When this is enabled, L1 & R1 become left swat & right swat, respectively, while X remains just a normal swat driven by the animation engine. I don't believe L1 & R1 are used in pass defense today.Online H2H quarter length too short
With college football 26 changing their quarter length from 3 minutes to 4 it vastly change the play style and games for good. More strategy you can feel like you were stopped and no, you still have a chance to make a play to win the game. And because there are 30 second play clocks and no auto run on the clock there are more persons now plays than Madden 26. The online H2H games have become toxic with many players running out the clock from the 1st quarter. Mixed with the fact it's so difficult to stop players from throwing to the flats and terrible pursuit angles. Getting 10 yards in 4 Downs is extremely easy. And players milk the clock with some games going the distance with only getting 3 possessions. There's no strategy or learning your opponent, making adjustments like in CF26. It's trying to make sure you use all the time after you receive the ball in the 3rd quarter. It's not fun at all Even adding another minute per quarter would make it so running it a quarter in 1 possession is less prevalent. A 5 minute with auto run 40 second playbook would make running the clock out more difficultMadden is bad
General question for Madden EA Developers who spend their time making a new game for us every year what are you guys smoking lol. Madden has been a joke for the last few years, I've always grew up playing madden and i can say you guys are copy and pasting games and doing entirely too much and ARE NOT LISTENING TO THE FANS. Fix this game its gliched, paid to win, real football is based on good plays, discipline and good players this game does not reflect real football. You got all these players who know one glitch play and decide to run it the whole game because they know the game is broken and it will work everytime unless you do research to combat it with another glitchy play. Then when you finally serve one of these players by beating them with their own glitchy plays and are about to win they find some way to sign you out your own ea account, explain that. Then you go and try to play againts the cpu in h2h and its like you want a challenge but you should still have the skill to win against the highest level difficulty. Nope the competitive cpu is unbeatable after a certain amount of games if your team isn’t significantly better than theirs. I have plenty of clips where im making perfect reads and scoring and the cpu is making these plays where i hitstick and they fumble but pick it up immediately when they are still on the ground and plays where my receiver would get the ball knocked out from a hit or just close coverage, the cpu wide receiver always catch the pass lol. Last thing what happened to MUT Draft it was so simple and so good and you guys failed as a team to add it back. Im Disappointed i wish i could refund this game and ive been giving it multiple chances all year because its the only madden you can play mut on you guys take old servers down nowadays like who tf came up with that. You guys are smart and dumb as rocks at the same time lol yall keep ruining madden every year. Yall should be SLAPPED SILLY .Rushing Record Breaker and Passing Record Breaker not working.
EA_Kent i don't if anyone is gonna read this, but the reason these trophies/achievements are not working is because the Yardage tracker in franchise mode stops tracking yardage after reaching about 1,023 yards, effectively preventing the trophies/achievements from unlocking, can you guys maybe try to fix the yardage tracker before abandoning this game? [Multiple CM tags removed - CM]Madden needs to finally be authentic to the real game, Is it really in the game?
Madden nfl 26, you know how you have your slogan, it's in the game, that's not exactly accurate Madden is a good game but it's not as authentic as the real game, what's not in the game, Online gaming- 1.there are no challenges, you cannot challenge any play 2. where are the penalty's, no pass interference at all, no holding calls. no injuries. 3. the game doesn't play correctly online ex. if your opponent calls a run play and they run to the outside alot of times the whole defense gets sucked into the middle leaving the outside vulnerable for big runs, it's a glitch all of these things have been present in madden for well over 15 years so if you are gonna state that it's in the game, please make it so that it's really in the game just like the real game playing madden is like playing madden from over 15 years ago same things nothing changes The “It’s in the Game” slogan represents our ongoing goal to capture the spirit, strategy, and excitement of real NFL football, but we recognize that there are areas where the experience particularly online doesn’t always reflect the authenticity fans expect. online game play is what I'm referring to how can there be no challenges, no penalties it's NOT authentic to the real game Lack of coach challenges in online modes Absence of realistic penalties (pass interference, holding) No injuries in online play Long-standing defensive AI and run-fit issues (particularly edge containment) Overall online gameplay authenticity compared to real NFL football This is not in the game would greatly appreciate the additions of it, thanks hopefully in Aug. 2026 when Madden NFL 27 is released this can finally be fully authentic to the real thing & then it can be said That it's in the game ThanksThings madden should add in ‘27.
They should make it so you can select a real nfl and college stadium in teambuilder. Also they should add more fonts and stripes too. They should let you also pick historic stadiums in teambuilder and other gamemodes. For example, when you relocate to Oakland or San Diego, you should be able to pick the Oakland coliseum or Qualcomm stadium as your stadium. You also should be able to add teambuilder teams through relocation alongside when you start the franchise. For the gameplay, they should make it so when you Qb gets hit while throwing, the ball doesn’t do what it does in 26 now. I hate that. They should add eras or all time teams and coaches too! More old uniforms would be nice also. They should make facescans more accurate yoo.Increase quarter length in H2H back to 5 minutes!
PLEASE increase quarter length in H2H back to 5 minutes instead of 4 minutes! 4 is way too short and too many players just milk the clock. No fun at all anymore. It used to be 6 minutes, then you cut it back to 5 a couple of years ago, then down to 4 in Madden 26. I went back to to playing Madden 25 and won't play '26 (or buy '27) unless you change it back to at least 5 minutes. I'll just keep playing '25 on my PS4 until you stop supporting it. I even bought a PS5 so I could play '26 not realizing you had changed it to 4 minutes.Lag/stutter
Is anyone suddenly lagging on pc playing online? Every play im stuttering, started within a week and im pretty sure its not on my end. Lags right after the play develops. So far i updated all my drivers, repaired and then reinstalled the game, cleared ea app cash, set to borderless windowed mode, capped and played on all fps settings, vsync is off, on field feedback is off. Not sure whats going on, I dont think everyone is lagging cause of servers? Hardware is not an issue, all other games run fine.
