Is it possible for y'all to add in co-op franchise mode, with 2 or 3 players. With similar if not improved setups from 3v3. The HC role should definitely be over roster moves, and special teams during the game at a minimum. You could even add more depth by having a HC that calls the plays and plays on both sides of the ball. While two users are locked into one side to the ball. EA_Kent i don't if anyone is gonna read this, but the reason these trophies/achievements are not working is because the Yardage tracker in franchise mode stops tracking yardage after reaching about 1,023 yards, effectively preventing the trophies/achievements from unlocking, can you guys maybe try to fix the yardage tracker before abandoning this game? Haven't gotten into franchise or anything yet, but have spent yesterday and today just toying with settings, sliders, and testing overall gameplay. I'll break it down into positives, negatives, and bugs/glitches I've run into so far. For the record, my User ID is BrandOG-182; Platform is PS5. POSITIVES: OVERALL GAMEPLAY: To my surprise feels pretty good actually considering the horrible experience CFB turned out to be. Movement is fluid and feels good; able to make good cuts on offense while running the ball, and good angle adjustments on defense while pursuing. Have only needed to make minimal adjustments to sliders, even being on All-Madden. Seems to be in a pretty solid place overall on both sides of the ball. Really plays like a pretty good game of football right now. Hopefully this remains fairly balanced at launch and after updates. SETTINGS: The amount of customization within the settings is excellent! From wear & tear, to weather; sliders & penalties, the ability to adjust everything to suit your style of gameplay has never been better. Haven't touched Franchise yet, but even last year, the XP sliders ability to adjust to age and position are great! This remains a strong positive and continues to improve. ANIMATIONS: New tackle and throw animations are really really nice additions, adding to the realism and overall emersion of the game. RUN BLOCKING: Even just blocking in general feels much better this year so far than previous years, and certainly a far cry from the dumpster fire experience it was within CFB. Running feels much much better compared to last year to the point the Run Blocking slider might even have to come down a bit. Will have to go through a season of franchise and see how the numbers look though. Pass blocking doesn't feel too overpowered for CPU, nor underpowered for the Player on 50 each, so that's pretty huge I feel. PLEASE, DO NOT screw this up with a future update! STUNTS: Were a great addition to CFB and are a great addition to Madden as well. RESTART GAME OPTION: A pretty nice touch as a Play Now option instead of just having the normal Quit option. Hopefully will see this in Franchise too. NEGATIVES: RATINGS: These are a matter of debate and discourse every year, but going through each team again this year, they still just feel out of touch with reality and leave me asking why a lot. I would really like to see more guys in the low to mid 70's, and far less in the 60's than I'm seeing. Some guys just really need some more respect on their name. Like, why is Matthew Stafford, a Super Bowl winner, still not at least a Superstar and yet Baker Mayfield (who I love as a QB so no hate toward him), is? Jared Goff with numbers he's put up is another. So many people either over or underrated. Make it make sense! These ratings affect how schemes work and play within game too, and too often I see them adjusted to make a guy fit a scheme while not emphasizing their individual skills within that position. This is especially relevant with linebackers, in which some can both rush the passer and play coverage really well at times. Good example of how it affects gameplay and scheme; Travis Hunter. Good at DB and WR. I'm afraid to even see the schemes in Franchise they were so jacked up last year. Idk who evaluates these each year, but DO BETTER PLEASE!!! KNOCKOUTS & 50/50 BALLS: My real problem with this is not just consistency, but how it pertains to overalls. This problem is exclusive to All-Madden to my knowledge because that's all I've played. Curious about other difficulties though. Whether it's knockouts or catches, they just seem to favor CPU way too consistently. I shouldn't need Superstar abilities to favor a catch or knockout when my CTH, CIT, SPC, or CVG calculates higher than the opponents player. I've had to turn CPU catching slider way down as they just do not drop the ball that often. Way too often have there been players with lower overalls coming down with, or knocking out balls against much higher overall players. This was a problem last year, and it was problem in CFB at launch with way too many 50/50 balls favoring the catch. This needs tuning. Overalls and ratings need to matter, even on All-Madden/Heisman. THAT BEHIND THE BACK KNOCKOUT ANIMATION: If you know, you know. It's in CFB as well...GET RID OF IT!!! Just terrible... QB RUNS/RUN OPTIONS: Seem very slow to launch; almost laggy. Not sure if this is just play design or buggy, but they feel as if they need a little tune up. CUSTOM UNIFORMS: The options are not great here. I liked it a few years ago when you could create multiple combinations from the whole selection of available uniforms, including the older 80s, 90s, etc versions. I hope at least the selection gets better after true launch, but we'll see. Also, the overall layout is a bit disorganized. DOWNLOADS: Specifically pertaining to older rosters/draft classes for nostalgic franchises. Been asking for this for some time now. Still no All-Time Teams either. Extremely disappointing for Franchise Mode, but I remain hopeful for possible future updates. BUGS/GLITCHES/MISLABELS SETTINGS --> GAME CONTROLS --> DEFENSE ENGAGED --> SPEED RUSH: On PS5, R2 is mislabeled here as R1 here. KICKOFF: Glitchy animation on kickoff where there appears to be a weird stutter and the kicker looks like he sort of glides across the turf instead of a fluid motion as with extra points and punts. ID MIKE: The ID Mike icon glitches out and disappears every so often. Hopefully this won't be an issue with routes as it was last year as well. So far haven't had the problem with routes in Play Now, but will have to see in Franchise. EXTRA POINT KICKS: I have the Kicking set to Multi-Meter; Tap and Tap. Every so often the extra tap doesn't register on the power gage, and the ball goes wide, even with the accuracy being good and aligned toward the middle for good accuracy on the first tap. So far this is all I've been able to discern and come up with after the first 24 hours. Going to dive into Franchise soon and leave a post in the Franchise section with what I find there. This is a thread I wanted to start so everyone on here can have their ideas seen and heard by EA_Shepard and other EA Staff while also having a single, organized place to share them. This in turn makes it easier to read and organize these thoughts in order to pass on to dev teams. Please be respectful and feel free to put down anything you would want to see in a coming update or in newer games to come. I'll start by adding these ideas: Downloadable Rosters & Draft Classes from past years for nostalgic Franchises. Customizable Divisions and Schedules like what is found in CFB (Great for Fantasy). Reincluding the option of Coaching Legends for Coach Mode (Also Great for Fantasy). Possibly reinclude custom facial uploads for custom coaches in Coach Mode. Revamped and reincluded Player/Owner Modes. - Ultimately to summarize this: For Owner Mode, I'd like to see Team Builder tied more exclusively to a new version of this where customization of everything from the ground up is key for the most customizable experience ever. For Player Mode, I'd like what little works well within Superstar to be tied to a new, revamped Player Mode, where the storylines and cutscenes are more included here, and less in other modes. This would include being able to choose an existing player within a franchise, and focus exclusively on their career; OR, create a new player and start as you would within Superstar. I'd like to see Team Builder weaved into relocation for all online modes and somehow introduced into offline. Inclusion of holding the L2/LT to Switch Stick to minimize switching by accident, especially while trying to pass rush. Include more cities and teams for Relocation. Cities where franchises already exist like Miami, LA, or Detroit, as well as new ones like Boston, Phoenix, or Birmingham. More Stadium options for Relocation. Reinclude Build a Stadium within Team Builder. I'm talking from scratch...not just editing the field. Reinclude the ability to edit and create more custom uniform combinations. Within the Edit Rosters section of the Creation Center, more flexibility to edit a player's contract, abilities, etc, would be nice. Better Training Camp - Introduce some ability to gain physical STR, SPD, AGI, COD, by introducing some of the game found in Superstar like the 3Cone, Weightlifting, 40YD, etc. - This is where mini-games shine. Make games open for more players to train and have them more focused on gaining skill points and less on XP and Rookie Reps. This is a great way to help maintain the physical ability of Vets, or take your high-level Superstars to the next level. Revamp Weekly Training - Make this less focused on mini-games and tie it more to Practice Mode and gaining XP/Rookie Reps. The way the have Wear & Tear worked into this is nice; Now just optimize it. Optimize Coach Central and Coaching Abilities. - It's a bit to type but my thoughts on this can be found in my "M26 Franchise Feedback thread" thread. I feel that's a pretty good start for now. You all already know the issue I will bring up. I asked Gemini why Katie Scott seems to announce more often than randomly. And I got an honest response. The high frequency of the female commentator, Kate Scott, in Madden 26 Franchise mode—often seeming to appear more than "random"—is primarily due to her role as one of the main commentary team options, alongside Brock Huard, integrated as a push for diversity and new, high-energy commentary. Many users have reported that her team seems heavily weighted or, in some cases, fixed for certain games, contributing to the perception that she appears more often than other, more traditional, commentary pairings. This baffles me as this is an easy way to prevent migraines of madden players. Let the consumer dictate what product. This leads to the best outcome. Don't force what isn't naturally desired. Practice squad should not be limited to just rookies up to year 2 players. Any player should be allowed on the practice squad. You should have the ability to elevate practice squad players to the game day roster if someone is injured instead of having a release and add someone to fit the 53 man roster. Also what the people want: -create expansion teams without erasing a current team. Allow one per division or allow for new divisions to be made. In-depth uniform creation with team colors and designs; maybe even the ability to upload a logo or just have a good pool to choose from. give us the ability to keep more the 53men on roster, opportunity to keep up to say 58 player or something. Too many guys in the free agent pool. two way players stats should carry for each position not disappear for one. CB/WR it will only keep stats for CB or vise versa. ability to talk players out of retirement more in depth facial features, hair, beards, muscles, belly, tats, etc. when editing or creating players and coaches. Also revise the profane name filter it’s too sensitive and real last names get flagged as offensive or profane. What would it take to have a clean slate? This is really for whoever at EA or representing EA is reading this and for those who experience something similar. All I wanna do is play this game on an even playing field like I used to, but that will require somebody at EA first looking at my account and seeing that it has been tampered with and that somebody at EA cannot and I repeat cannot be from EA help because somebody at EA help is the one that did this Somebody over there Nerf to my team about two months ago and there has been nothing and I repeat nothing that I can do to undo what they’ve done It does not matter the OVR of my team. It doesn’t matter the OVR of the player, and it doesn’t matter the OVR’s are still level of the players or people that I play my opponents. Something has been applied to my account that makes my players slower and weaker than the opponent. I have chats recorded of people at EA help saying they can see something was done to my account but that they cannot undo it themselves because they don’t have the authority. I don’t know what that something is specifically yet, but it seems most likely that it is the thing that they say they don’t do in Madden, which is dynamic difficulty adjustment or DDA. Whatever it is, I just want to stop. I just wanna play this game. I’m an even playing field like everybody else gets to. The way it is right now EA stole my money and then when I complained about it too much, they took away my ability to enjoy the game. I don’t think that the company itself supports this type of retaliatory action against a person that plays their game but certainly somebody at EA help did something to my account. The same exact players on other people’s teams perform remarkably different than mine even my opponents notice it in game and comment on it Has nothing to do with chemistry chemistry are set as good as they can be as good as anyone else’s has nothing to do with gameplay. My gameplay is above average. And in fact, the more and more I play and lose and lose and lose and lose about 98% of my games over the last two months while my team is allegedly improving mind you all of this is going to show in the data because statistically points to tampering if a person loses 98% of their games while their team is in the upper two or 3% of what is possible to build, back in point to one of two things. One person is really really bad at the game or, two, something has been done to their game to make it more likely than not that they will lose regardless of improvements to their team— and it is certainly the latter of these that is affecting me, and I just want it to stop. How does a person field a 87 OVR team or a 92 OVR team and their players on the field in the game are faster and stronger than my 96 of VR team or what is now a 97 VR team how does that make sense? In fact it’s so obvious that something is done to my players and my team no matter who I put on the field, my opponent even noticed it. Mathematically, this will show as an anomaly because it is statistically improbable that every opponent that I faith has a better team and is a better player they’re not, and I know that because when I play in the regs I win — by far — more than I lose. The thing is if they did this to me, they do it to other people too. Maybe you have experienced something similar and couldn’t explain it and had people call you crazy if you considered that maybe they did something to make it that way for you, but I can assure you if that happened to you you’re not crazy just like I am not crazy. What is crazy is a company that will steal a customer’s money and then retaliate against them when they complain about it by intentionally making their product deficient. that is what has occurred. anyone that can prove they don’t work for EA and would like to see my evidence and to have me what they’ve done like odd by all means will gladly share it. I don’t need to share it with the people at EA because they can see for themselves and I don’t necessarily want to give these people what I have on them if this has to go before the court and in a civil suit. I’m desperate I don’t want to have to take it to court but if it doesn’t change, I am going to take it both too court, and I can assure you, I will take it to the street the moment I find out who the individual was that thought it was a good idea to torment me like this. This is a plea for this to stop, and it is a siren for the other players out there: this can happen to you too. As it stands, EA stole my money, and then when I complained too loudly about it, stole my joy. I have not won this contest. I should not have to be in a contest withEA. Here are my issues with Madden that need to be addressed for the IMMEDIATE future Blocking - is atrocious to say the least. Inside zone & especially base the o-line pulling never leads up in the hole. I've seen o-lineman literally run off the field or block another d-lineman already being blocked. I've even seen them pull and block a CB already being blocked by a WR. Instead of picking up the defender they are supposed to block. How on earth are safeties and CB playing in sub packages shedding blocks better than linebackers? The impact block especially against sub package players is terrible. Those smaller players should be getting steam rolled. And let's not even get into pass blocking. People rush 3 defenders against 5-6 blockers and get better pressure on the QB like an all out blitz. 3 rushing down lineman is a conservative coverage defense that shouldn't get any pressure. The blocking needs to be reprogrammed from the ground up. I can't even use 12 personel or play action heavy offense because the blocking is so bad. Psychic DB - U finally got rid of psychic DB play against man coverage. But it's still happening against zone coverage and when the QB scrambles. I can throw a pass against zone and these DB's will be running full speed covering the WR. Once the ball is released from the QB's hands they will whip around full speed. Backs were turned they were not even looking at the QB. How on earth can they make a play on the ball when they shouldn't even know it's been thrown? Unrealistic X-factor abilities - Franchise Mode we don't want unrealistic abilities like Bazooka, Film Study, Omaha, Truzz, etc These are unrealistic and should stay in Ultimate Team only. And if u do have these abilities make them harder to get. Omaha should be attained at 3 straight passes over 25 yards in the air. Make it tough for these abilities to trigger. User control/Cpu control - This game makes u jump when I don't want to. My WR should jump when I press the button to make him jump. To many animations make my player jump on routine catches where He doesn't need to. And he drops the ball because catch in traffic has always been terrible in these games. Button change - The swat and interception buttons on defense should be 2 different buttons. To many times I get an animation swatting the ball whenI have a wide open interception. L1/L2 on defense should be swat and triangle interception just like the old days. Let the users decide the outcome of these games. Pursuit - It's ridiculously horrible. Linebackers just run through holes blindly no read & react. WR catch the ball and the DB chasing him gets that weird animation where he runs underneath the ball carrier. Alignment - How many times do players run into each other? I try to run man coverage and my DB is way off to the side giving the WR an inside or outside release. Half of my time is spent fixing alignment on defense but then my opponent snaps the ball. Pass trajectory is still terrible no matter the settings. The ball is still too low and even on deep passes the ball is always short. It only goes over the CB when u high point the ball. And when u do that the ball goes over the WR head. Or u get an animation where the WR jumps and once the DB touches him, the WR drops the ball. This is infuriating. This is how QB's should look. Look at the trajectory of the ball, look at how the QB is able to move around in the pocket. The QB actually has a pocket and the o-line actually blocks for him. Look at the speed of the ball being passed. They don't need Gunslinger or Pass Lead Elite to throw the ball with zip on it. Here is my Wishlist for Madden 27 Teambuilder: Team Builder has to be used on Play Now Mode. 25 and 26 didn't allow this and that is the reason why I didn't buy 26. I wouldn't have bought 25 if i had known that beforehand. Add more generic stadiums Unlimited team creation and not cap it at 32 teams. Allow play offline More layers on the fiend and the uniforms. Create mascots Add more updates throughout the year like the other modes do Bring back nicknames section. It had it on 25 then it was taken off for some reason. One of the biggest promotions of the year in the team of the year. Just one problem, cant play the team of the year events which of course holds a player at my level from reaching goals associated with the upgrade tokens. There is a set for a free 97 over all player for ten tokens that I can not reach because I do not have the skill level to compete in the head to head event. Can't complete challenges tied into the events therefore potentially not being able to reach the end of the team of the year pass. The cpu events are lagging so badly that it is physically slow motion. As a player that paid the 100 dollar's for madden when it dropped all I ask is to be able to play the game lag free and to be able to reach the goals I have set for myself this year in ultimate team. I tried watching hours of streams in order to receive promised packs and of course it does not work to track my time watching therefore does not reward me my packs and tokens. I tried reaching out to ea multiple time's where as they did not lift a single figure to help me resolve my issues. I am very upset and have spent my fair share on the game and packs this year which will not continue due to poor customer support. I will not ever be purchasing another madden game after this year.
