As someone else who was recently banned, likely for a similar ‘reason’ as you, I couldn’t agree more. Falsely accusing customers because an outdated bot claims I was selling coins, and then not giving a chance to actually talk to someone who can actually review my long history on the game, is not right, let alone for a large corporation like EA.
I play the game, but the main reason I buy a new version every year is for the market and menus…I enjoy learning the market, taking some risks (without real-world negative implications when I make a bad investment)…and mostly, I enjoy the challenge of staying atop the coin leaderboard as a no money spent player.
There were make rights on a Zero Chill LTD pack, so I bought the ZC LTDs when they fell, and began selling them for the prices they were selling for before the make rights when inventory was drying up during the beginning of the Playoffs promo. I can’t think of any other reason the system thought I was distributing coins. Then again, how could I know…all we get is a blanket automated email that explains nothing. I have zero reason to distribute coins. Heck, if I really wanted to sell or transfer coins, I know there are ways to do so, but I still wouldn’t go that route as I wouldn’t want to risk being banned in the first place. And, it’s simply not in my nature to cheat or take advantage of other players - I’m too old for that crap.
I’ve been playing MUT for 6 years and have been banned twice now. Luckily on the first one I was able to get through to someone and actually go over what happened, so hopefully sooner than later I will be able to connect with a human again to review this case and get my coins back, and be able to use the auction house again.
I’ll submit appeals and hope for the best…if they insist on falsely banning me after my efforts, I’ll have to reconsider taking another break from the game again until the outdated tech they use to falsely ban people is fixed.
