In my All-Madden Franchise, Besides Sam Cosmi at center, the rest of the line is rookies. Their pass blocking is dismal at best, but my RB Bhayshul Tuten, has 692 yards with 9 TD's at week 7. I traded for the LT from NE, the LG from Vikings, the RG from Seahawks and the RT from the Jets. All rookies with 70+ awareness and fast. A lot of second level blocks being made. Plus Tuten is just flat out fast. Most of the time he gets past the clutter before it develops and his BCV is fantastic.
Since AWR doesn't seem to be handed out as freely as it used to in past Madden games when upgrading players, I've found that a base AWR for OL at 80 seems to work best overall, and most lucky to even hit 90 AWR throughout their career. It really help amp up the consistency in blocking. There's a fine line when balancing the ratings with programing though, as even that change made to the linemen didn't fix how the game operated overall. For example, after editing last years rosters and raising the OL AWR base, it help pass block be more consistent, but run blocking was still not great in getting to the secondary levels and creating consistent gaps.
