Rookie lineman after year 1 in franchise mode are TOO SMALL. PLEASE HELP.
I decided to buy Madden again after two years without it, and after playing the first year of my franchise mode, I remembered why I had decided to go without it for the last two years. When you draft rookies in franchise mode, offensive and defensive linemen have the same body type as all of the other players. As google ai perfectly puts it below, this "breaks immersion"...
I understand it's definitely a small thing, but for players like me, it makes it almost unplayable. I drafted a defensive tackle after year 1, and the dude looks like a middle linebacker trying to play nose tackle. Just completely takes me out of the game, and ruins the experience for me. Franchise mode is really the only mode that I play in the game, even since I was a little kid. I used to be able to go 10-15 years deep into a league...I'd adjust names and ratings and tendencies of ALL rookies throughout the league, while playing as my team, so I had complete creative control over the whole thing. Was perfect to let my imagination go and have fun with it...but now I don't see the point of even trying, because by year three, every team is gonna have a tiny guy on their offensive line...it looks ridiculous, and I just can't get myself to ignore it to take the game seriously.
I remembered this being an issue in the past as soon as I saw it this year. And it's truly so disappointing. I feel like I can't be the only player of Madden who thinks this is an issue. Other people play franchise mode as religiously as I do, right? C'mon folks, can we put the pressure on? How hard could this be to fix? Or how hard would it be to just bring back the body customization from a few years ago?
