I only play Franchise mode and after the recent update the game has been freezing every button I press. If I wanna upgrade a player, it freezes for 10 to 15 seconds, and it's like that for everything, wanna see the weekly awards, it's the same, wanna change the coaches abilities, same, every action I wanna do takes 10 to 15 seconds, even tho before the update it was running smoothly. It's borderline unplayable.
I just saw this post because I have the same issue. I too, only play Franchise Mode and before the most recent update, navigating and making selections in different menus was crisp and responsive, but now there is a noticeable input delay on EVERYTHING. It's such a shame because these input lag issues in menus have been a problem for YEARS (not just with Madden, but FIFA too), and I really thought you guys may have actually fixed something for once. Silly me. 😒
Same for me. I guess franchise players get the short end of the stick as ea tries to capitalize off of the Super Bowl and a last ditch effort to make as much money as possible in ultimate team…by waiting this long in franchise it’s becoming unplayable. I haven’t even tried trades yet…
Just seeing this post. I came home and the only thing I wanted to do is play my Madden franchise where I have Mendoza as my QB on the Raiders and I'm like 12 years in. This sim is freaking busted. Like dude. This is supposed to be the beat sports sim game available. Shi* is just sad.
I'm getting input lag where I can't even update players and rosters because the wait is not worth it. It's like 15 seconds.
Then I got it lagging in game as well. So I guess I'll just sim this shi* until it completely crashes. Sad I was having a **bleep** ton of fun on it. I think I'm just gonna pack this Madden away. I'm so over it dude. Breaking out NBA2K so I can be even more disappointed. At least they'll have historical rosters an actually give a **bleep** about the association mode. Sorry for the rant.
