Got home from work, started playing madden which i bought literally not even 24 hours ago and EA managed to make me regret this choice deeply, the game is in its current state so laggy and stuttery till the point that its not even playable, tried out every fix possible and i mean EVERY ! fix, still nothing worked. And from what i read, literally everyone is having this problem, fix ur game EA, ur absolute trash of a Company. Shameless...
Having the same problem, unplayable very laggy and a lot of stuttering with the new update I really don't understand how they keep breaking games with updates, just for the info I'm playing on a RTX 5090 at 4k 120fps.
Yep, and EA hasn't even spoken up about this problem. Do these guys just not check their forums?
Idk if it'll help anyone else, but for me, I turned off "On-Field Visual Feedback" in the options and it's been working fine for me. Hopefully it helps someone else until EA actually fixes this. (I took this from Reddit Post and it actually worked) Who knows why it worked
good to know even high end 3-5+ thousand dollar pc's are having serious issues hope they fix soon all i want to play is madden and now i cant fyi 4070 super AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor i play on 1920x1080p 60fps so its easier on my system since its so buggy to begin with and after patch it got much worse lol wish you luck EA
i finally found a fix that worked for me i turn off on field visual feedback. settings are resolution is 1920x1080p borderless window, no limit on frame rate, vsync off, hdr off, 3d grass always off, advanced hair low, ambient occulusion always off, lens flares always off, bloom always off, high res circular dof off, mesh low, texture high if you got enough Vram, shadow low, crowd low, vfx low, and motion blur off i have tried setting for hours finally its smooth not sure why fyi 4070 super amd ryzen 9 7900x 32 gig ram is my system hope this helps other people

Still broken! Even after turning off On Field Visual Feeback, its fine for offline, but the moment you load into an online match its a jittery mess. What a shame.
Same here can play offline but online is unplayable. Unacceptable EA
tried everything under the sun and almost deleted the game and turning off "on-field visual feedback" finally did it for me. thanks
