Superstar glitch

I made 2 characters, a linebacker and a corner, and the linebacker was on the eagles, I had played a few games with it, and the corner was on the falcons and I got about all the way through the season. One day, I went in and it was on the linebacker and I went to switch to the corner, and the corner was on the eagles, and when I went into a game, my character was playing as a middle linebacker. In the sphere of influence, it still has all of the coaching staff and teammates of the falcons, but not the falcons roster in the game. On the linebacker build, it all reset me into the combine and all the progress was lost. I basically lost all of my progress on both builds and it made me sad.
