cant log into my mut progress, making me restart and select a team at lvl 1

SO the update came out, i log into madden 26 and it says it cant retrieve data and its now making me start from scracth what in the hell is going on? and what should I do or contact? Are the servers down? did I lose everything? WHAT?!
