Completing a Set Will Freeze The Game

This is new behavior introduced in the first update. (The big one). 

To work around this, complete sets from the “My Items” module. Select the player and choose “Add To Set” from the option menu. You will get a sub-menu containing all of the card’s qualified sets.  Upon completing the set you are returned to your binder without issue. 

Adding items from your item binder works fine, as does going to the set menu, but the items should have those same ‘add to set’ option at all times, including when you purchase the item from the auction house or through opening a pack as it always has before. EA_Shepard​ 

JCoke32​ I saw this mentioned with the team. They are looking into this one. Will follow up with them and see what we can find out. I thought there was a workaround where you just backed out and went back in but does not seem to work every time you do it.

Yes, this happens to me as well. I have to close the app every time and it’s been doing this since season 1.

MaddenDadd​ I honestly that it did have that option. I have not really noticed that it doesnt. I generally go through my binder and do ones i dont need and not through the sets tab.

•  Platform
• Name of the set you are completing
• Any specific Item causing the error
• The error message you receive
• Recent timestamp (Date, Time, Timezone)

I provided detailed reproduction steps earlier in the thread. The steps provided the conditions for this issue to occur. 
Was your team unable to reproduce using my steps?

EA_Shepard​  Yup. It's easier to immediately add an item to a set once you buy or pull it  rather than going into the binder/set tab, and that used to work (for years) until recently.
