CPU Inconsistency and slider issues

Every year since I was 10 years old, I’ve bought Madden, and ever since frostbite has taken over the quality of the computer gameplay has been absurd. I can’t get a stop against Cooper Rush with Aaron Donald and miles Garrett, I understand trying to make it more challenging, but there is no sliders for realistic gameplay and the computer is way too OP. What are you guys doing to solve this? It’s insane. The gameplay is unplayable against CPU. You cannot release a game and say that simulation is the closest to realistic gameplay and then, I get blown out by a fourth string quarterback when I have Hall of Fame defensive linemen. It doesn’t happen. I can’t even game plan against certain teams. I can pick random bonus play sheets, but like there’s no realisism to actually playing a true franchise. 1 star game again. I hope EA goes bankrupt because I know I am not the only person to consistently talk about how **bleep** poor the gameplay truly is
