Suggestion

First of all, I think Madden 27 is a great game.  It’s so close but one of the things for me in Franchise mode is the player regression.  There needs to be a performance based regression system in addition to the age based regression.  Players go up but they don’t come down until they turn a certain age, and even then they don’t regress very fast.
There is a temporary performance based regression in the game already, I think if you just make that permanent then it would work better.  What I’m talking about is during the season, when a player is performing well or on a great team, there’s a boost to their ratings.  However, if the situations are opposite, they get a red - next to the attributes that have declined.  At the end of the season, those negative numbers reset. More times than not, the boost numbers won’t completely reset because there will be a progression upgrade based on season goals.
Instead of the decline in numbers resetting, why don’t they apply permanently?  That would make more sense.
Justin Jefferson was a 99 once.  Just once.  Obviously EA realizes players will decline season to season based on performance.  However, if that 99 OVR Justin Jefferson continued in a franchise during that season, he would still be a 99 today.  Multiple years later and multiple game versions later.
im ranting now but I think you get the point.  There really needs to be a way a player declines other than age because year 3 or 4 of a franchise has like 12-15 99 OVR players and many more 95+
