There is no captain patch at all for when you become a team captain and Madden they make you stay three or four years and work and grind and you don’t see the captain patch on whatever player you are using. It is a small detail but it’s very crucial to the realism of the game, can we please get that added back

its been like this for connected careers player mode forever too, the game doesnt want to prioritize giving the QB a captain patch unless youre one of the top rated players and all previous captains left the team
I’ve literally just got it today I think I played 6 season sim like 2 and I got it on the Indianapolis colts as a qb
I’ve gone through 5 seasons of Superstar mode as a starting Quarterback and won 4 of 5 super bowl’s I’m pretty sure I outta have a captains patch by now. And yes Indianapolis uses them all season long for designated captains. Even during gameplay they talk about me being the captain of the offense this is EA NOT BEING EFFICIENT and just constantly copying and pasting this specific game mode year in and year out with minor tweak to make the majority overlooked these HUGE problems. I’m past captain by far on the “GOAT JOURNEY” list in fact I’m an “ALL-TIME GREAT”. Now I can live out never having cap space for 5 straight years… unlikely more likely a glitch/bug. And can deal with not being able to track individual season stats. I can even deal with not being able to see contract years remaining for every play before I try to make a trade or whatever. I can even deal with not being able to suggest trades or my front office to sign free agents because it’s super bugged out. But this seems to be very simple coding that they are choosing to overlook at this point. We’ve already had an update and EA is fully aware of this matter and they choose not to correct this issue.
STOP ADDING MORE AND MORE THINGS TO THIS MODE UNTIL YOU CAN CREATE A MODE WORTHY OF PLAYING!
Im kinda confused where y'all got this info though. Been playing since pre release and I am a Captain with a patch. Its not always accurate depending on your team but you will still get made a team captain. I think its safer to say EA just hasn't fixed the problem on if your play is up to standard or above it then you should be made Captain.
I don’t understand why EA hates Superstar mode so much
I know this bugs the crap out of me my coach told me I was going to become a team captain. I was playing on a team that uses captain patches all season never got one. Just another year wirh EA and them not taking time to focus on detail in the game. My legacy board on GOAT mode doesn't even show ive won a superbowl.
