Madden locking out injured players online H2H

Why on God's green earth would EA think it would be a good idea to lock out injured players from playing on H2H. Like what do they think they're trying to accomplish? We pay all this money for this game and can't even use the players we want even when they're on the team. How do we get them to change this?

    EA did this years ago and I believe Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre was taken off the game due to injury and that didn't turn out well.  Imagine if Dax Prescott or Patrick Mahomes is lost for this season.  As a fan why would I purchase the game if I can't play with my favorite team's QB online?  Just ridiculous.
