Update 10/6/26
This morning when I turned clicked on MD27 it stated that I needed to restart for an update? I can't seem to find anything about this? Was this Madden/EA or maybe by Xbox system? I assumed it was Madden since that's when I got the message.
bh6354 Hey, happens often because different types of updates get pushed. Small ones, like weekly roster updates, are typically what you see.
Week 5 Roster Update was pushed to the live servers. This aligns perfectly with the morning prompt you saw, as EA releases these every Thursday afternoon/morning ahead of Thursday Night Football.
(Update 4.5) was pushed. It introduced targeted changes to Franchise mode CPU salary caps and minor uniform fixes.
Title Update was deployed by EA. This patch addressed core presentation elements, gameplay bugs, and UI crashes.

Although I do not see the weekly roster update, typically, that is what it is in the middle of the week.
