consistent Duos disconnections

so me and my friend are having consistent issues trying to play duos in squad seasons where we go to start the game and then it instantly kicks him from the game and doesn't let him play with me then we both have to restart our records. im interested to see it doesn't seem like a common issue ?? what could this be and does anyone have any fix for this ??
