Console Freezing

Ive never had my console freeze before and its happened twice in the last 24 hours when playing Madden. I would say its because I play a lot and my PS5 is a couple years old but the same thing happened to my friend this week for the first time as well (also while playing Madden 27). I'm beginning to think there's a problem with the code of the game not two separate console issues. Anyone else have this problem?

    Yeah this has been happening for a month now and EA has yet to fix it. I can’t get through more than 1-2 games without it freezing. Game is unplayable. I’d try to get your money back if it’s not too late.
