I’ve done some experimentation. I think the salary cap has something to do with it. I tried this with the salary cap off with the Lions, and it did not work, (also, the team needs do not show in the trade center when salary cap is off), when I created a new franchise to turn salary cap on, the negotiation did show properly. Although, strangely, when I tried

I appreciate this. So this is what I gathered from it, so i can pass it along, and others can see how to "resolve" it for the moment at least:
- Salary Cap Connection: Turning the Salary Cap OFF triggers the contract negotiation bug where initial offers are ignored, and the UI animation fails to update.
- Salary Cap ON Resolution: Creating a new Franchise with the Salary Cap ON resolved the issue for the Lions, allowing the UI contract animation to transition correctly and apply the custom initial offer.
- Team-Specific Exceptions: The Chiefs' contract negotiations worked correctly even with the Salary Cap turned OFF, suggesting the bug may be team-specific or intermittent. 👈
- Multi-Team Control Behavior: In a franchise where all teams were controlled, the contract UI suddenly began working correctly for the Lions, even with the Salary Cap turned OFF.
- Related Trade Center Bug: Turning the Salary Cap OFF also causes team needs to disappear from the Trade Center.
