Created players in franchise

So the problem i have been having is when i created some players to add into an offline franchise i want to edit the player abilities and stuff like that but when i go into the edit mode and i make my edits and save it just reverts back to what it was before. 

also as others have been saying players also disappear sometimes and is really frustrating because it seems that stuff like this happens every year with this company.
